A publisher may license others to publish international editions of its scientific journals. For example, agreements between the AMA (owner of JAMA and the Archives Journals) and international licensees give these publishers the right to publish and disseminate collections of articles from JAMA or the Archives Journals in specific markets (countries or regions) and in specific languages.
