Help
Tip: The Help pages are context-sensitive so that, for example, if you were looking at a book's table of contents page and clicked the Help button, you would have been taken straight to the Help section about full-text content. You can, of course, go directly to another topic by using the Help menu in the left-hand navigation area.

Creating bookmarks

Using bookmarks
You can view all your bookmarks, and click through directly to the bookmarked subsections, from the ‘Bookmarks’ section of My Style.
Deleting bookmarks
To remove a bookmark from a subsection, click on the red bookmark icon that appears next to the subsection heading. It will then revert to the blue icon, so the subsection is ready for bookmarking again.

Creating, amending and retrieving annotations
To create an annotation, first navigate to the subsection of the manual that you wish to annotate. Highlight the relevant text, by clicking and dragging your mouse, and then click on the ‘>’ arrow in the annotation field to the right of the paragraph. Make your annotation in the text box that appears, and click outside the text box to save it.
Click back into the text box if you would like to edit what you have written.
You will notice that for longer annotations a scroll bar appears while you are creating the annotation. When you click outside the text box the text of the annotation that appears will be truncated. Click back into the text box and use the scroll bar to read the whole annotation.
Annotations can be up to 500 characters in length, including all spaces and punctuation. The annotation field will stop accepting further key strokes once you have reached the 500 character limit.
To find your annotations, go to the ‘Annotations’ section of My Style. You can click through from the list there directly to the subsections that you have annotated.

Searches
Once you are logged into My Style, you will be able to see all your recent searches in the ‘Search history’ section of My Style (without saving them).
Saving searches
If there is a recent search that you wish to save, in the My Style ‘Search history’ section, click on the ‘+’ sign beside it in the ‘Recent searches’ list, to move it into your list of saved searches. (You can also run searches from this list.)
You can also save searches from the search results page, by using the ‘Save search’ button.
Note that the ‘Saved searches’ list has a maximum of fifteen searches. When you ask to save a sixteenth search you will see a dialogue box warning you that if you continue with saving it, you will overwrite the oldest of your fifteen searches already saved. You can select ‘yes’ if you are happy to do that, or ‘cancel’ if you would prefer either not to save the search, or return to your list of saved searches to select a different search to delete. You can then promote your recent search to the saved search list.
