Add AMA Manual of Style links to your browser toolbar

Instructions

Internet Explorer

  • Click the right mouse button anywhere in the toolbar area. If "Lock the Toolbars" is checked, click to uncheck it.
  • Place your mouse cursor over the following link: .
  • Click the right mouse button and select "Add to Favorites ..."
  • In the Security Alert warning box that pops up, click "Yes" to continue (our code is safe).
  • In the Add a Favorite box that pops up, click the expand button at the right of the "Create in:" window.
  • Select the Links folder from the drop-down list and click the "Add" button.

Can't see it? If you cannot see your Links toolbar, go to the View > Toolbars menu to make it appear; click on the Links entry. If you can see the Links toolbar but not the Search AMA Manual of Style Online link, click and drag the toolbar all the way to the left side of your screen and onto its own line to make more of the toolbar items visible. If the Links toolbar has too many items to be displayed on one line, click the overflow button at the far right of the Links toolbar to view the rest of the items. The Search AMA Manual of Style Online link should be the last item in the list.

Firefox

  • Drag this link onto your Bookmarks toolbar.

Can't see it? If you cannot see your Bookmarks toolbar, go to the View > Toolbars menu to make it appear; click on the Bookmarks entry.
