JAMA and the Archives Journals require each author to provide detailed information regarding all financial and material support for the research and work, including but not limited to grant support, funding sources, and provision of equipment and supplies. This is outlined in the journals' instructions for authors.

All financial and material support for the research and the work should be clearly and completely identified in the Acknowledgment section. Grant or contract numbers should be included whenever possible. The complete name of the funding institution or agency should be given.

If individual authors were the recipients of funds, their names should be listed parenthetically.
