The full name of the publisher (publisher’s imprint, as shown on the title page) should be given, abbreviated in accordance with the style used by JAMA and the Archives Journals (see , Abbreviations, Business Firms) but without any punctuation. Even if the name of a publishing firm has changed, use the name that was given on the published work. The following is an example of the format for a book with a joint imprint: 1. Henderson DA, Inglesby TV, O'Toole T, eds. Bioterrorism. Chicago, IL: JAMA/Archives and AMA Press; 2002.Consult the latest Books in Print to verify names of publishers,

AMA Manual of Style requires a subscription or purchase to access the full text of books within the service. Public users can however freely search the site and view the abstracts and keywords for each book and chapter.
