Following the recommendations of the ICMJE, CSE, and WAME, reviewers should disclose conflicts of interest in reviewing specific manuscripts and disqualify themselves from a specific review if necessary.,, Reviewers should never use information obtained from an unpublished manuscript to further their own interests.
